The Town of Fletcher is located in northern Henderson County, just minutes away from both Hendersonville and Asheville. Since its incorporation in 1989, the town has more than doubled its population. To accommodate the growth in population, the town’s housing supply has also increased.

It’s not hard to see why people want to live in Fletcher. Cane Creek and the French Broad River provide both beauty and opportunities for water sports, and there are plenty of nearby hiking trails, as well as a public park system. Fletcher is also close to popular area attractions, including the Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure, and the North Carolina Arboretum.

Several major roadways provide easy access to the town. US Highway 25 runs through its center and is the main thoroughfare for residents. Interstate 26 is located to its west and provides easy travel through North Carolina to Tennessee and South Carolina.

The Asheville Regional Airport, located just west of Fletcher, provides convenient non-stop service to Charlotte, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Newark, Orlando, and Chicago. Apple County Transit, an area bus line, connects Fletcher residents with the City of Hendersonville.
