Community and County Information
The Henderson County Commissioners have passed an amendment to the zoning code which will affect new developments in Rural Agricultural Areas. The new code will require developers of subdivisions with ten or more lots which are located in a Rural Agricultural Area (RAA) to have wells drilled on a minimum of 60% of the lots and show adequate water supply before any development or land disturbing activity can take place.
