Market TrendsAccording to the North Carolina Association of Realtors, the real estate industry is expected to see steady improvement in 2010, with home sales predicted to increase by 15 percent. The November extension and expansion of the $8,000 tax credit and $6,500 tax incentive is effectively moving existing homebuyers into new homes, with 1.5 million repeat buyers expected to benefit from the credit. Community and County InformationThere has been an Edneyville and Dana Community Group which have been meeting with Henderson County Planning Staff to look into what each particular community would like to see happen within their own community in the future. I understand there has been a lot of discussion on such things as zoning and more community parks.
