Market and TrendsWe are now seeing interest rates as low as 4.5% with some banks and mortgage brokers. In talking with loan officers, they are telling us that there is plenty of money out there for qualified buyers with some fantastic rates right now. Banks seem to be very busy right now with refinancing, which is a very good sign.The information we are getting is showing that markets in south Florida and California are beginning to open back up again. Community and County InformationThe county has offered tax breaks to both Borg-Warner and WilsonArt. WilsonArt is spending $1.7 million to create 28 new jobs and Borg-Warner plans a major $12.5 million upgrade. The county commissioners have offered WilsonArt a $3,861 per year reduction in taxes for seven years and they have offered Borg-Warner a reduction of $43,463 per year for five years. We are hopeful this will help the local job market and show some support for these companies to continue their operations in Henderson County.The outdoor shooting range at the Justice Academy in Edneyville is still one of the hottest topics currently on going within the community.
