Market TrendsFirst time homebuyers continue to fuel the housing market rebound, accounting for nearly 50 percent of the home sales in the first seven months of 2009. Community and County InformationIf you have not visited the new Edneyville Community Center building please make it a point to get by. There has been new playground equipment installed as well. The facility is well situated on a knoll directly across from the Edneyville General Store and has a great view of Bearwallow Mtn. The facility is beautiful and would be a place anyone would be proud to have a family reunion or meeting. The facility is now available for rent through the Henderson County Recreation Dept. for meetings, reunions and family gatherings. There is a staff member available on site to assist during business hours.
