BUY NOW! If you have been waiting for the best time to buy a home it August be time! In all the 27+ years I have been in this business I can honestly say I have never seen a better situation for a home buyer than we currently have in the market place right now. Interest rates are still very low and there is a lot of inventory out there with some of the best buys we August see in a lifetime. There are some really great buys out there, especially in the foreclosure and short sale market. I really feel the real estate market is heading up from here, and "now" August be the best time to buy. If you have been sitting on fence waiting to see what is going to happen, I think you might want to start looking around. Community and County Information

If you have not visited the new Edneyville Community Park and meeting center on Chimney Rock Road across from the Edneyville General Store, you need to do that. The facility if really nice and is a great location for community meetings, family reunions, parties, etc. Reservations for the facility can be made through the Henderson County Recreation Dept. There are many planned activities for all ages at the center through the recreation dept and other community groups which use the facility for their outreach programs.

Jackson Park in currently having many of the roads upgraded with safety concerns addressed and new paving through out right now. There will be times when one entrance may be closed and you may have drive around to the other entrance to get where you need to go in the park. Understanding this is an inconvenience, however once complete the new road system should be much safer and many of the deferred maintenance items that have been needing attention for many years will have been addressed.
