Market and TrendsWe have just received word that the government has just released additional funding for the USDA loan program. This has been one of our only remaining sources of high loan to value financing available. This program ran out of many about a month ago and had quit taking applications. However, the program has been re-funded and banks are now taking applications and closing those which were in the pipeline already when funding had dried up. If you are not familiar with this program and need a high loan to value loan for purchasing a home, give one of our agents a call and they can get you more information on this program.We have also run across lenders now that are willing to do construction loans again. If you are looking to purchase a lot and build, give us a call and we will help you locate property and set you up with a lender that will not do construction loans. In recent conversations with local bankers the word is that interest rates are as low as they have ever been and if borrows have good credit there is plenty of money available. Bankers are also looking for business right now, so if you have good credit, this may be the best time in history to purchase real estate.
