Community and County Information

It is almost “Back to School” time with Henderson County Schools starting back the 25th of this month. Please watch out on the roads and be mindful of all the kids out and about. It seems this summer has really flown by this year. With temperatures hovering in the 90’s for many days we are hopeful we will see some relief before school starts.

Many thanks to all those that participated in the Tom Pryor Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church building fund this past weekend. The weather was actually perfect, food was great and there were a lot of local folks there supporting the community. The tournament was a great success and thanks to those that worked so hard to make it happen.
